Description
The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) is seeking bids from firms to provide janitorial cleaning services and floor care for the Authority's maintenance facilities, garages, police precincts, and warehouses located throughout the MARTA system. The contract will be administered by MARTA's Office of Facilities.
Some key points to note:
• The bid submission deadline is April 28, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
• Bids will be opened publicly via virtual WebEx stream on April 29, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
• The contract will be awarded to a responsive and responsible bidder who is technically, financially, and otherwise qualified to satisfactorily perform and meet all conditions in the contract.
• MARTA reserves the right to accept a bid other than the lowest if it determines that its interests will be best served by doing so.
• The bidder must provide proof of registration with and participation in the E-Verify program.
• The bidder must comply with all applicable laws, including the Georgia Open Records Act.
• The contract will include provisions for payment terms, insurance requirements, and conflict of interest.
