Service Trucks

The Long Beach Unified School District is soliciting bids for a one‑year contract (with up to two one‑year extensions) to provide two service trucks: a 2027 Ford F450 heavy‑duty dump‑truck with a Scelzi ¾‑yard dump body and a 2026 Ford E‑Transit electric utility‑body vehicle. Vendors must be authorized Ford dealers, must have a service facility within 30 mi of Reid High School, and must provide full warranties, insurance, and a suite of compliance certifications (non‑collusion, drug‑free workplace, tobacco‑free policy, federal EDGAR certifications, etc.). Pricing must be exclusive of sales tax and include separate line‑items for document preparation, DMV filing, California tire fee, and delivery. Delivery is FOB to the District’s transportation branch in Long Beach, with temporary registration required at delivery. The contract will be awarded on 16 July 2026, with performance beginning the same day. • Two new Ford commercial trucks (one gasoline‑engine dump‑truck, one electric utility‑truck) • Mandatory vendor qualifications: authorized dealer status, nearby service facility, full warranty, insurance minimums, and numerous certifications • All costs exclusive of tax; line‑item fees for documentation, DMV, tires, and delivery must be quoted separately • Contract term: 1 year (extendable to a total of 3 years) with payment due within 30 days of invoice
