Description
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is seeking a vendor to provide a FECON FMX28 excavator-mounted mulching head for use in vegetation management, forestry mulching, and land clearing operations. The mulching head must be compatible with government-owned excavators in the 3.5-8 ton class and meet specific technical specifications. The vendor shall deliver the mulching head, all required mounting hardware, and OEM documentation. The government will inspect the delivered items to ensure compliance with the specifications.
• The mulching head must be new, unused, and of current commercial production.
• The mulching head must be fully compliant with manufacturer specifications.
• The mulching head must be delivered with all accessories necessary for integration with government equipment.
• The mulching head must have a working width of 28 inches and an overall width of 40 inches.
• The mulching head must have an operating weight of 750 lbs.
• The mulching head must have a flow range of 12-40 gallons per minute and a maximum operating pressure of 4,000 PSI.
