REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATION CONTRACTORS FOR AERIAL IMAGERY QUALITY CONTROL SURVEYS

The North Carolina Geodetic Survey (NCGS) is seeking qualified private surveying firms to perform aerial imagery quality control surveys utilizing Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) and traditional survey methods. The selected vendors will be required to provide survey products in both digital and hardcopy formats. The contract term will be three years, and the vendors will be required to begin work within 48 hours of notification. The scope of work includes performing horizontal and vertical QC survey projects, adhering to HMPS-NCGS stipulated standards and specifications. • The purpose of the Ortho imagery project is to collect seamless aerial imagery for use by local 911 agencies, local, state, and federal agencies, and the public. • The vendors will be required to provide weekly project status reports, recovery and field notes, Excel spreadsheets, photographs, and signed and sealed complete and accurate reports of work performed. • The vendors will be evaluated based on their understanding of the project approach, innovative approaches, equipment and software availability, workload and manpower availability, and overall summary of personnel. • The contract will be awarded based on the best value to the State, considering factors such as price, experience, and qualifications.
