Description
The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) intends to award a purchase order to Petroleum Experts LLC for MOVE suite geologic software license. The software is required for data integration, forward and reverse cross-section modelling, and kinematic restoration and validation. The USGS currently has multiple projects with data integrated within the existing software and models, and without this upgrade, the USGS would be unable to access that data.
• The software must be able to assign different densities and physical properties of the mantle and crustal rocks.
• The software must be able to create, record, and export large point clouds for every step of fault motion, uplift, loading, erosion, unloading, sediment accumulation, and sediment loading through the model.
• The modelling is required to determine critical mineral potential in the EarthMRI Republic Survey region in northeastern Washington State.
