Relocate Exterior Cameras at Federal Courthouse

The City of Cedar Rapids is seeking qualified contractors to relocate exterior surveillance cameras at the Federal Courthouse. The work includes removal of existing camera units, civil and electrical modifications to mounting locations, installation of new camera hardware, and integration with existing security systems. All work must comply with ADA standards, local building codes, and federal regulations. Bids must be submitted electronically via the City’s Euna Procurement portal by the deadline. The contract will be awarded to the responsive, responsible bidder offering the best value. • Scope: demolition, civil work, electrical wiring, mounting, testing, and commissioning of exterior cameras. • Must adhere to 2010 ADA Standards, OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements. • All materials must be new, unused, and meet manufacturer specifications. • No subcontracting without prior written approval. • Payment terms: net 45 days after receipt, inspection, and acceptance; accelerated discounts may be considered. • Bids are public records under Iowa Open Records Law.
