Description
The City of Houston is seeking a lease for community services to support the Head Start and Early Head Start programs. The lease should be for a property with a minimum of 7,500 square feet, accessible outdoor area, playground area, and adequate parking. The property should be located adjacent to or south of Main Street, adjacent to or west of Almeda Road, near West Fuqua, or adjacent to or north or east of Sam Houston Tollway. The lease term is for 60 months.
• The lease should include a tenant improvement allowance.
• The landlord should be responsible for providing any necessary repairs or replacements of HVAC units.
• The landlord should pay a commission to the tenant's designated broker.
• The tenant should have the option to terminate the lease with 6 months' written notice if government funding is cancelled.
• The tenant should have the right to assign or sublease the leased premises with the landlord's consent.
