On-Call Development Review and Permitting Support Services

The County of Butte Department of Public Works is seeking qualified consulting firms to provide on-call development review and permitting support services. The selected firm will provide professional services to support development projects, including permit and plan review, preparation of conditions of approval and mitigation measures, environmental review support, and other related program management activities. The contract will be for an initial term of three years, with an option to extend for an additional two years. The firm will work under the direction and supervision of the County. • Provide land use assistance, development review, and permitting services • Assist with managing various flood risk mitigation grants, studies, and efforts • Assist in the review of environmental assessment projects and prepare documentation required to comply with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) • Create formal reports and other related legal or administrative documents • Coordinate and/or complete special projects and perform other duties as assigned by the Director The County is looking for a firm with demonstrated experience providing development review and related professional services. The firm should have a strong understanding of the background, technical requirements, and timelines of the services to be provided.
