Rehabilitation Management and Services - NYS Veterans Home at Montrose

The New York State Department of Health is announcing the release of a request for proposal, contract number C042416, for the management and services of the Physical Therapy Rehabilitation Department at the New York State Veterans Home at Montrose (NYSVH). The NYS Veterans Home at Montrose is a 252-bed long-term care skilled nursing facility and rehabilitiation facilty that is seeking bids from qualified bidders to provide management and therapy services for the in-house rehabilitation program that includes managment of the program as well as Physical Therapy (PT), Occupational Therapy (OT), and Speech Therapy services. Minimum QualificationsThe NYSDOH will only accept bid proposals from bidders who meet all minimum requirements. Bidder must have at least five (5) years of experience providing rehabilitation/therapy services. Bidder must have at least five (5) years of experience in providing rehabilitation/therapy administration such as billing and scheduling of patient care. Bidder must have at least five (5) years of experience in providing staffing, including recruitment, retention and management of rehabilitation/ therapy staff, both licensed and un-licensed. Bidders must have at least five (5) years of experience providing rehabilitation management and staffing in a long-term care facility of at least two hundred (200) beds. Experience acquired concurrently is considered acceptable.
