V129--Patient Assisted Parking Services

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking information from contractors to provide Patient Assisted Parking Services at the Samuel S. Stratton VA Medical Center in Albany, NY. The services include parking lot attendant services for one designated patient parking lot and the main entrance curbside area. The contractor must provide comprehensive services, including staffing, equipment, and supplies. The contract period is for one base year followed by four option years, with a total period of performance of five years. The contractor must have at least five years of experience in providing similar services and must comply with all local, state, and federal laws. • The contractor must provide all necessary equipment, including podiums, lock boxes, walkie-talkies, and cones. • The contractor must provide uniforms and identification badges for all staff. • The contractor must ensure that all staff are fully trained and capable of performing all required duties. • The contractor must comply with all VA regulations and policies. • The contractor must provide a daily report of all vehicles parked and staff hours worked. • The contractor must ensure that all vehicles are parked in a safe and secure manner. • The contractor must provide customer service to all patients and visitors.
