Description
The City of Huntsville is seeking a strategic planning consultant to develop a comprehensive plan for the city. The consultant will lead an extensive, inclusive, and innovative strategic planning process with the City Council, including a 1-2 day engagement and retreat. The resulting plan will update and build upon the City's 2024 Strategic Plan, aligning Council's vision and priorities with departmental goals, community needs, and long-term financial planning. The scope of work includes facilitating the retreat, conducting a SWOT analysis, establishing strategic priorities, and developing a comprehensive strategic plan.
• The consultant will be responsible for completing the project in a timely manner, consistent with the overall goal of presenting the Final Strategic Plan to City Council for adoption 30-60 days post the retreat.
• The consultant will provide a detailed cost proposal, including anticipated fees, rates, and expenses.
• The consultant will be required to enter into the City of Huntsville's standard Professional Services Agreement.
• The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive informalities, and accept the proposal that the City determines to be most advantageous and in the best interest of Huntsville.
