Park Planning Services for the Folsom Plan Area – Neighborhood Park #2

The City of Folsom Parks & Recreation Department is seeking proposals from qualified firms or interdisciplinary teams to provide park planning services for the Folsom Plan Area – Neighborhood Park #2. The selected consultant will develop a master development plan, provide design development, construction documentation, and bidding assistance. The project includes a 5.65-acre site with programmed elements such as a synthetic soccer field, children's playground, basketball court, tennis courts, group picnic area, restroom building, and parking lot. The consultant shall provide expertise in park planning, landscape architecture, community outreach, civil engineering, electrical engineering, geotechnical engineering, and land surveying. • The project requires a detailed scope of work, including topographic survey, master development plan, design development, construction documentation, and bidding assistance. • The consultant shall attend community workshops, prepare presentation materials, and provide color graphics for the presentation. • The project has a budget of roughly $2.75M and is expected to be completed in 33 months. • The consultant shall provide a geotechnical report, including the results of field exploration, laboratory testing, and engineering analysis. • The consultant shall also provide special inspection and testing services during construction.
