BWT Site Office Sources Sought

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is seeking information regarding the capability and availability of potential contractors to construct the Black Warrior and Tombigbee Alabama-Coosa Project Management Office in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The contract will require the selected contractor to provide all plant, labor, equipment, and materials necessary to construct the required Project Office, including site work, utilities, environmental remediations, and ancillary requirements. • The estimated cost of construction is between $24,000,000 and $26,000,000. • The contract will be a Design-Build to Budget (DBtB) acquisition. • The successful contractor will be responsible for the full design of the Project Office, as well as all subsequent construction. • The Government anticipates a firm-fixed-price contract awarded on a best-value tradeoff basis. • The primary North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this requirement is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction.
