Department of War Pharmacy Uniform Formulary Blanket Purchase Agreement/Uniform Formulary Additional Discount Program

The Department of War (DoW) is seeking quotes for pharmaceutical agents to be included in the Uniform Formulary (UF). The UF is a list of pharmaceutical agents that are approved for use in the Military Health System (MHS). The DoW is required by law to establish an effective, efficient, integrated pharmacy benefits program for the MHS. The program includes the purchase of pharmaceutical agents, and the DoW is seeking quotes from manufacturers to provide these agents at the best possible price. • The DoW is seeking quotes for specific drug classes, including ADHD Agents - Stimulants and Oncological Agents - BRAF-MEK Inhibitors. • The quotes must include all NDC-11 packages of the pharmaceutical agent(s) marketed during the life of the agreement. • The DoW will consider the relative clinical effectiveness and relative cost effectiveness of each pharmaceutical agent in recommending a cost share tier classification. • The agreement will be effective upon signature of the Contracting Officer, and prices will be loaded into the electronic pricing database by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) within 14 calendar days.
