Description
The City of Dunwoody is seeking a contractor to design, install, finance, operate, and maintain two rooftop solar photovoltaic systems, one on each of two buildings owned by the City. The systems should be designed to maximize energy production and minimize costs. The contractor will be responsible for conducting site assessments, obtaining necessary permits, and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. The City is looking for a turnkey solution that includes financing, installation, and maintenance of the systems.
• The contractor must provide a plan for operations and maintenance of the systems throughout their useful lives.
• The contractor must provide performance and production guarantees.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including the Buy American Act.
• The contractor must provide a public-facing educational display showing data such as real-time and cumulative energy production, carbon emissions avoided, and equivalent trees planted.
