Stormwater Management Plan Update

The City of Richland is seeking a qualified consultant to prepare the Stormwater Management Plan Update. The selected consultant will be responsible for evaluating the existing stormwater system, identifying areas for improvement, and developing a comprehensive plan to update the system. The plan should include recommendations for staffing requirements, design standards, and Richland Municipal Code changes. The consultant will also be required to produce an updated Stormwater Management Program with implementation schedules and a municipal Operation and Maintenance Plan. The City is looking for a consultant with experience in stormwater engineering, hydraulic modeling, and preparation of Stormwater Management Plans. • The consultant should have a strong understanding of the Eastern Washington Phase II Municipal Stormwater Permit and other regulations and requirements. • The consultant should have experience with similar projects, including preparation of Stormwater Management Plans and updates. • The consultant should be able to demonstrate their ability to work with the City's staff and other stakeholders to develop a comprehensive plan. • The consultant should be familiar with the City's stormwater collection system, including the 154 miles of pipe, 3 lift stations, and approximately 7,000 catch basins. • The consultant should be able to identify limitations in the existing collection systems and recommend improvements.
