The City of Palmdale is seeking a qualified consultant to provide construction observation services for the McAdams Park Renovation. The consultant will act as the City’s on‑site representative, monitoring contractor compliance, reviewing plans, tracking schedules, and preparing daily and weekly observation reports with photographs. The work includes overseeing civil, structural, landscaping, utility, and site‑improvement elements of the park project. The engagement is qualification‑based; price is not a factor in the initial selection. • Provide daily on‑site observation, safety and compliance monitoring, and photographic documentation. • Review and comment on plans, flag discrepancies, and issue field recommendations. • Coordinate with the City’s Project Manager, utility companies, and other agencies; attend kickoff and bi‑weekly progress meetings. • Deliver weekly summary reports and a final walk‑through report recommending substantial completion.
