Indigent Cremation Services (Re-bid #2)

Martin County is seeking bids from licensed contractors for cremation services for individuals approved under the Martin County Indigent Cremation Assistance Program. The contractor shall respond to referrals from community agencies that have custody of a decedent believed to qualify for indigent cremation services. Such agencies may include, but are not limited to, local law enforcement agencies, hospice providers, hospitals, assisted living facilities, the Medical Examiner’s Office, and other licensed funeral service providers. • The contractor must be a licensed funeral service provider. • The contractor must have experience in providing cremation services. • The contractor must be able to respond to referrals from community agencies. • The contractor must be able to provide cremation services for individuals approved under the Martin County Indigent Cremation Assistance Program.
