PHOENIX SKY HARBOR INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT NORTH INFIELD PAVING AND DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS

The City of Phoenix is seeking a qualified Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) to provide preconstruction services and complete construction services for the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport North Infield Paving and Drainage Improvements project. The selected CMAR will work as a team with the designer of record and City staff to ensure an efficient design approach for the project. The project involves improving drainage, operational safety, and the long-term integrity of the infields across the north airfield at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. The work will include repairing cracks in existing shoulders, removing and replacing deteriorated asphalt, and regrading infield areas to enhance drainage. The CMAR will be responsible for construction means and methods and will be required to solicit bids from prequalified subcontractors to perform the work using the City’s subcontractor selection process. Key aspects of the project include: • Improving drainage and operational safety • Repairing cracks in existing shoulders and regrading infield areas • Removing and replacing deteriorated asphalt • Upgrading and adjusting utilities • Providing preconstruction services, including cost estimating and project planning • Providing construction phase services, including constructing utility adjustments and new paving • Coordinating with various City of Phoenix departments and other agencies • Maintaining a safe work site and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local construction and contracting requirements
