H399--Third-Party Elevator Inspections

The Saginaw VA Medical Center is seeking a contractor to provide third-party elevator inspection services. The contractor will be required to provide all necessary tools, parts, labor, supplies, materials, equipment, supervision, and transportation to furnish the services. The services include semi-annual and annual inspections, as well as five-year load tests. The contractor must have a QEI-1 Certified Elevator Inspector and provide proof of certification. The inspections must be conducted in accordance with the ASME A17.1 code and ASME A17.2 Inspectors Guide. The contractor must also provide a comprehensive report after each inspection, including findings, recommendations, and a list of parts that need to be replaced.
