Budget estimate

$2,000,000 – $5,000,000

Based on typical costs for full‑scale library renovations in New York City—considering demolition, hazardous abatement, structural concrete, steel framing, MEP systems, interior finishes, and site work—the contract value is likely in the low‑to‑mid multi‑million dollar range. A modestly sized branch library rebuild can run roughly $2 M to $5 M depending on material selections (e.g., slate roofing, specialty stone), labor rates, and MWBE compliance costs. Therefore, an estimated budget range of $2,000,000 to $5,000,000 is reasonable.
