Description
The LSU New Orleans campus is soliciting bids to replace the existing boiler and air‑cooled chiller serving the Net Charter School Athletic Center on its East Campus. The work includes complete demolition of the existing mechanical and electrical equipment, installation of a high‑efficiency packaged air‑cooled chiller, a high‑efficiency condensing‑type boiler, associated piping, insulation, gas and electrical connections, control systems (including VFDs and DDC valves), and all required testing, balancing, and commissioning. The contractor must be licensed in Louisiana for mechanical work, provide a 5 % bid bond, and furnish performance and payment bonds after award. A pre‑bid site visit is scheduled for 10 Oct 2026 (non‑mandatory). The project must be completed within 180 calendar days from notice to proceed.
