Tethered Drone Systems

The North Carolina Department of Transportation is seeking bids for the provision and delivery of Tethered Drone Systems. The contract will be for a one-time purchase, and the successful bidder will be required to provide pricing for and deliver the systems to the Department's Aviation Division. The bid must include all applicable charges for shipping, delivery, handling, administrative, and other similar fees. The Department encourages the submission of questions and bids from qualified vendors. • The contract will be awarded based on the lowest price that meets the specifications. • The vendor must complete and return all required attachments, including the Pricing Form, HUB Supplemental Vendor Information, Location of Workers Utilized by Vendor, and Certification of Financial Condition. • The vendor must provide a signed and redacted copy of the bid if confidential and proprietary information is included. • The Department reserves the right to negotiate with one or more vendors and to reject all original offers. • The contract will be for a one-time purchase, and the vendor must agree to furnish and deliver the systems within the specified timeframe.
