Projection Mapping System

The City of Wheaton is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide a projection mapping system for municipal installation at their mural site. The system should include high-luminosity outdoor projectors, specialized software for image warping and blending, a media server to manage content for playback, weather-proof mounting enclosures for the projectors, and a robust power and connectivity system. The system should be designed to project dynamic visuals onto the existing mural wall, requiring planning and calibration to achieve seamless projection mapping across the entire surface. The City is looking for a turnkey project, where the firm will be responsible for concept design through installation of the system. • The system should be able to project dynamic visuals onto the existing mural wall, which is approximately 8.5’ high by 49’ wide. • The firm should provide a detailed cost proposal for a turnkey solution, including the cost for an extended warranty of any equipment, future software upgrades, and annual maintenance costs of the system. • The firm should provide a minimum of five contactable references for similar work/projects undertaken in the last five years. • The firm should include all permitting fees, reviews, and associated costs in their proposal.
