Notice of Intent to Establish a Blanket Purchase Agreement with a Single Firm for Glove Finger Tip Sampling, Media Fill Test, Surface Sampling Incubation and Microbial Analysis for Gallup Indian Medical Center

The Navajo Area Indian Health Service, Gallup Service Unit, intends to award a single Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for various testing services, including Glove Finger Tip Sampling, Media Fill Test, Surface Sampling Incubation, and Microbial Analysis. The BPA will be established with Technical Safety Services LLC, but other vendors are encouraged to submit their capability statements, price lists, and catalogs if they believe they can fulfill the government's requirements. The services required include tryptic soy agar with lecithin/tween, media fill test, and microbial testing, as well as training on how to take samples and pack/return media. The anticipated period of performance includes a base period and two option periods, with the base period starting on 3/13/2027 and ending on 3/12/2028. • The contract requires the vendor to provide tryptic soy agar with lecithin/tween, including certificate of analysis for growth promotion and quality. • The vendor must also provide media fill test, including certificate of analysis for growth promotion and quality. • Microbial testing is required, including finger tip/thumb sampling, surface sampling, and media fill, as well as sample processing, incubation at dual temperatures, preliminary plate counts, morphology counts for all bacterial and/or fungal growth, and identification of all growth recovered. • The vendor must provide training on how to take samples and pack/return media. • The contract has a base period and two option periods, with the base period starting on 3/13/2027 and ending on 3/12/2028.
