H146--SPS Water Sampling and Testing at the Hines VA Hospital in Hines, IL

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide water sampling and testing services at the Hines VA Hospital in Hines, IL. The contractor will be responsible for performing tests including pH, Alkalinity, Bacteria, Endotoxin/LAL, TOC, Ionic Contaminant, Conductivity, and Hardness tests. The contractor will also provide on-site sample collection services. The contract will be for a base year with four one-year options. The contractor must have staff trained on water sampling techniques and procedures, operate a laboratory with all relevant accreditations and certifications, and be able to perform all required water testing in accordance with AAMI ST108 standards. • The contractor will perform water testing at various sites within the hospital, including the Sterile Processing Service (SPS) department and other areas as specified in Appendix A. • The contractor will provide on-site sample collection services, including all materials and shipping costs. • The contractor will perform tests according to the relevant standards and/or policies, including AAMI ST108. • The contractor will provide results of water testing promptly after the conclusion of each test, including test location, test(s) performed, date of sample collection, date of lab analysis, numerical result, and clear pass/fail indication.
