Nikon Optical Microscope– Combined Sources Sought/Notice of Intent to Sole Source

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is seeking information from sources that may be capable of providing a high-speed, Lock-in/Servo system for a Nikon Optical Microscope. The microscope should meet or exceed the following draft minimum specifications: * Imaging silicon wafers and 2D quantum materials in visible and infrared light * Operating in reflection and transmission modes * Automatically recording multiple images of adjacent areas of a wafer and stitching them into one image * Automatically taking multiple images at different focal heights * Compatible with the existing NIKON MM-400SLU * Having a motorized nosepiece, stage, and focus adjustment * Having a digital readout pad that can measure in XYZ from linear encoders of stage and Z-focus The key aspects of the job include: • Providing a high-speed, Lock-in/Servo system for a Nikon Optical Microscope • Meeting or exceeding the specified minimum requirements • Being compatible with the existing NIKON MM-400SLU • Having a motorized nosepiece, stage, and focus adjustment • Having a digital readout pad that can measure in XYZ from linear encoders of stage and Z-focus
