REQUEST FOR INFORMATION/SOURCES SOUGHT CONSOLIDATED EMERGENCY RESPONSE SYSTEM

The United States Marine Corps (USMC) is seeking information regarding potential sources and methods to best provide maintenance and sustainment of the Marine Corps Consolidated Emergency Response System (CERS). CERS provides Enhanced 911 (E911) capabilities along with the Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) of emergency personnel and First Responders to USMC installations around the world. The system consists of several subsystems, including VESTA E911, CAD, Law Enforcement Records Management System (RMS), and Fire Station Alerting (FSA). The USMC is looking for a contractor to provide maintenance, upgrades, and system-level logistical support for the CERS system. • The contractor will be responsible for providing maintenance and sustainment tasks, including design, engineering, program management, preparation, replacement, installation, configuration, optimization, system certification support, testing, documentation, and training. • The contractor will need to demonstrate their ability to quickly staff and successfully perform tasks described in the attached draft PWS. • The contractor will need to provide information on operational approaches for a consolidated Help Desk for CERS support. • The contractor will need to provide information on possible approaches or best practices for maintenance actions on the existing systems. • The contractor will need to provide information on system reinstatement and system recertification requirements supporting a sustainment and maintenance effort for CERS.
