Catholic Priest Services Beale AFB

The US Air Force is seeking capabilities from businesses to provide Catholic Priest services at Beale AFB, CA. The contractor will be required to furnish personnel and transportation necessary to provide a Roman Catholic Priest for the Roman Catholic Community at Beale AFB. The Priest will serve as the Catholic Priest for Beale AFB Catholic programs and support individual rights under the First Amendment to the US Constitution. Key responsibilities include: • Providing for the religious and spiritual needs of the Catholic Community • Planning, organizing, and directing the activities of the Base Chapel Catholic Community • Providing administrative support, religious services, and pastoral care • Compiling ministry information on the Air Force Chaplain Corps Activity Reporting System (AFCCARS) • Attending Catholic Pastoral Advisory Council meetings and Chaplain Corps staff meetings • Providing sacramental ministry to all Roman Catholic military members and their family members • Providing pastoral counseling to Catholic personnel The contractor must be a validly ordained Roman Catholic priest in good standing with the bishop of his diocese or the superior of his religious order.
