Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking an Architecture-Engineering (A-E) firm to renovate the In-Patient RRTP site at the Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center and Clinics (SORCC) in White City, Oregon. The project involves designing a renovation of approximately 30,000 square feet for exterior recreation and mental health areas. The A-E firm will be responsible for providing plans and specifications for the renovation, including site investigation, field work, and demolition of existing structures. The firm will also be required to provide a capability statement, company information, and other relevant details.
Key features of the project include:
• Providing year-round outdoor activities for recreation, mental wellness, and exercise
• Improving controlled access to the newly designed site from the RRTP area
• Providing secure storage for equipment and accessories
• Including a site survey and geotechnical support in the design
• Ensuring compliance with all applicable codes and regulations
• Preparing independent specifications and drawings for the project
• Providing a construction cost estimate and opinion of construction cost
