Description
The Escambia County Board of County Commissioners is seeking qualifications from Professional Architectural & Engineering Firms to provide Professional Design and limited Construction Administration Services for a new state of the art, energy-efficient and resilient facility for transit operations. The project will take place at 100 Clarinda Lane, Pensacola, Florida, 32505, and will consist of the design and construction of a new Escambia County Area Transit (ECAT) complex. The complex will include an Administration Building, Bus Wash, Fuel Depot, and Maintenance Building, and will be built to Enhanced Hurricane Protection Area (EHPA) specifications.
• The project requires a firm with experience in designing and constructing public transportation facilities.
• The firm must employ at least one architect and one civil engineer, both registered with the State of Florida.
• The firm must have knowledge of current rules and regulations of local, state, and federal agencies.
• The firm must provide evidence of a satisfactory record of performance in meeting the minimum technical qualifications.
• The project has a deadline for questions on February 12, 2026, and a submission deadline of February 20, 2026.
