Three Sisters Permanent Power Project-Phase 1

Pierce County is seeking professional electrical engineering and design services to develop project plans for shore power installation up to the Three Sisters Radio Site. The project involves the undergrounding of approximately 15 miles of powerline infrastructure to support a critical emergency communication system. The selected firm will be responsible for electrical design, planning, and permitting, as well as coordination with various stakeholders. The project is subject to NEPA review and must comply with applicable FEMA regulations. • The project requires experience with similar size and scope projects, including electrical engineering and design services. • The selected firm must demonstrate qualifications and experience in managing complex projects with considerations of timeliness and technical success. • The project involves coordination with PSE, AHJ, Pierce County, and FEMA. • The selected firm must provide all documentation necessary to support NEPA review, including site maps, environmental and cultural assessments, and applicable permits.
