Description
The City of Cleveland is soliciting design-build services from qualified solar photovoltaic providers to design, engineer, build, and construct a turn-key installation of two DC ground-mounted solar PV projects at the former landfill sites. The two sites should have a combined DC capacity of approximately 10 megawatts, split between the former Kolthoff and Bradbury/West 11th landfills. The selected firm will be responsible for designing, planning, scheduling, permitting, and constructing complete solar PV systems, including interconnection, providing project financial analysis, and demonstrating ability to comply with all relevant federal rules and requirements.
• The project includes two sites: West 11th/Spring Road Landfill and Kolthoff Road Landfill
• The selected firm will be responsible for securing all environmental permits and complying with all requirements necessary to install a ground-mounted system
• The firm will provide a detailed construction sequencing plan, including civil, racking, modules, electrical, and SCADA
• The firm will provide equipment and installation manuals, safety plans, and quality control plans
• The firm will be responsible for web-based monitoring for operational needs and maintenance
