Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking information from experienced companies to advise on the technical and business process application of the IFS Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system within the FAA Supply Chain context. The FAA aims to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of its supply chain by applying industry best practices, implementing additional functionalities, and conducting business process re-engineering. The selected company will provide expert services to support the FAA in achieving its objectives, including improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the supply chain, automating manual processes, and providing informed advice on the FAA's Supply Chain Management-Enterprise Resource Planning (SCM-ERP) infrastructure.
Key aspects of the project include:
• Improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the FAA Supply Chain by applying industry best practices
• Automating inefficient manual processes by leveraging the IFS ERP
• Providing informed FAA-specific advice regarding the FAA SCM-ERP infrastructure
• Achieving a base continuity of knowledge which is sustained through the ebb and flow of work for the SCM-ERP platform
• Providing FAA-specific training when needed related to the IFS ERP
• Introducing new technologies which may further improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the FAA Supply Chain
• Supporting the FAA in establishing and sustaining an enhanced and evolving FAA Supply Chain Strategic Roadmap
