Sole Source Award to Froude Hoffman Inc.

The Commander, Fleet Readiness Centers (COMFRC) Procurement Group is giving notice of intent to award a purchase order to Froude Hoffman Inc. on a sole source basis. The purchase order is for the condition assessment and repair/overhaul of the Froude F359-GT dynamometer used in the T400 Engine Test Cell. Froude Hoffman Inc. is the OEM for the dynamometer and its proprietary data, and is the only known source for the required full overhaul. • The requirement is for a 16-week period of performance. • The purchase order is expected to be in the amount of $180,000. • Froude Hoffman Inc. is based in Michigan and has the proprietary data for the dynamometer. • The notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes, but all responsible sources may submit a capability statement.
