Description
The City of Winston-Salem is inviting vendors to participate in an onsite testing of their neat emulsion polymer products for use in the Gravity Belt Thickener (GBT) at the Archie Elledge Wastewater Treatment Plant. Vendors must schedule a testing date and provide a sufficient quantity of their product for the performance trial. The testing will be conducted between September 25 and October 31, 2025. Only pre-approved vendors will be considered for the award of a contract. The contract will be for the annual supply of polymer, starting July 1, 2026.
• The GBT dewater an annual average of 0.556 mgd.
• The performance requirements include hydraulic loading, guaranteed cake solids, and guaranteed capture rate.
• Vendors must supply a sufficient quantity of their product for the performance trial.
• The City reserves the right to reject any request for cause, scheduling conflicts, or for inquiries after the deadline.
