Description
The City of Nashua is seeking a qualified contractor to provide barrier placement and removal services for extended outdoor dining areas in downtown Nashua. The contractor will be responsible for picking up barriers from Four Hills Landfill, setting them up in downtown Nashua, and removing them at the end of the season. The contractor must demonstrate experience in traffic control, barrier installation, site safety, and compliance with ADA and local regulations. The contract will be for a period of approximately 6 months, from April 30, 2026, to October 16, 2026. Key responsibilities include:
• Pickup barriers from Four Hills Landfill
• Set barriers in downtown Nashua at locations shown on a plan provided by the City
• Provide traffic control, including a police officer detail and flaggers
• Ensure installation meets safety standards and ADA compliance
• Remove barriers at the end of the season
