Description
The State Highway Administration (SHA) is soliciting bids for overhead door maintenance at the Elkton Maintenance Facility. The contract will be for a 3-year period, and the selected bidder will be responsible for performing scheduled preventative maintenance and repairs as necessary on all overhead doors. The bidder must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance and repairing overhead doors and provide proof of insurance. The contract will be awarded to the responsible bidder submitting a responsive bid with the most favorable bid price.
Key aspects of the job include:
• Performing semi-annual preventive maintenance on all overhead doors
• Providing repairs as necessary on an "as needed" basis
• Maintaining a stocked service truck with materials, tools, and equipment
• Responding to emergency repair service calls within 3 hours
