Description
The VA’s White River Junction Medical Center is seeking a vendor to remove 18 end‑of‑life patient ceiling lift systems and install, test, and commission 21 new ceiling lift systems (including hoists, rail/track, hanger bars, slings, and related hardware). The work must comply with VA safety, seismic, infection‑control, and electrical standards, include load testing, provide user training, and deliver all required documentation. The contract is unrestricted and will be awarded based on technical capability, past performance, veteran‑involvement credit, price, warranty, and delivery speed. <br/>• Remove and dispose of 18 existing ceiling lifts. <br/>• Furnish and install 21 new ceiling lift systems (various capacities 550 lb & 825 lb). <br/>• Provide XY‑track and linear‑track configurations (5 × 10 m, 4 × 4 m, 4 × 3 m, 3 × 3 m, plus linear tracks of 3‑6 m). <br/>• Supply medium hanger bars, disposable slings (84 total), and integrated weighing/control hardware. <br/>• Perform structural calculations, seismic certification, and load testing. <br/>• Deliver on‑site training for technical, operational, and administrative staff. <br/>• Coordinate installation within normal business hours (7 am‑4:30 pm, M‑F) and adhere to VA infection‑control and safety protocols.
