Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide whole blood and related blood products to the Veterans Integrated Service Network 8 (VISN 8) facilities in Florida. The contractor must be an active Food and Drug Administration (FDA) registered or licensed blood bank entity, community(non-hospital) blood bank nonprofit corporation, accredited by AABB (American Association of Blood Banks), The College of American Pathologists (CAP), or the Joint Commission. The contractor will provide products, blood related services, and therapeutic services to attain a blood product that will be compatible and safe for a patient’s condition(s).
