Academy Endeavor/Academy International Elementary Heating Boiler Replacement

Academy District 20 is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to provide removal and installation of existing heating boilers at Academy Endeavour and Academy International Elementary Schools. The project includes replacement of two existing boilers and associated pumps, air separator, expansion tank, chemical feeder, mechanical room heating hot water piping, combustion air, vent controls, and appurtenances. The contractor will be expected to provide specific construction management services, including project control, maintenance of a competent full-time staff at the project site, and establishment of on-site organization and lines of authority. The contractor will also be responsible for obtaining all necessary permits and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. • The project requires the contractor to provide a detailed schedule and budget for the work. • The contractor will be required to attend progress meetings and provide regular monitoring of the schedule. • The contractor will be responsible for determining the adequacy of subcontractor personnel and equipment and ensuring that all work is completed in a satisfactory manner. • The contractor will be required to provide a warranty for the work and ensure that all defects or deficiencies are corrected in a timely manner.
