Limited Sources: Fiber Optic Connectors

The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) is soliciting quotes for the manufacture of Fiber Optic Connector Assembly Kits. The contract is an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract, and the Government intends to award the contract to Greene Tweed & Co., LLC and Princetel, Inc. on a Limited Sources basis. The contractors shall provide manufactured Fiber Optic Connector Assembly Kits in accordance with Government Drawing 8958891. • The Government has determined that only Greene Tweed and Princetel possess the required qualifications and expertise to manufacture these kits. • The contractors shall provide a unique item identifier (UID) for all delivered items for which the Government’s unit acquisition cost is $5,000.00 or more. • The Government’s method of payment will be electronic payment via Wide Area Workflow (WAWF). • The guaranteed minimum for this IDIQ contract shall be satisfied by the issuance of the initial Delivery Order for the Pre-Production Test Articles (PPTA), quantity 50.
