REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATION: DRAINAGE MASTER PLAN UPDATE AND DESIGN OF ANAVERDE CREEK DRAINAGE BASINS

The City of Palmdale Public Works Department is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from qualified consultants to provide civil engineering services to update the City’s Master Plan of Drainage for the Anaverde watershed and complete the Construction Plan for the basins based on the revised Master Plan with Specifications and Engineer’s Estimate. The selected consultant will review the City’s existing drainage studies, complete the PS&E based on the findings and recommendations resulting from the study and analysis, and provide a complete design of the drainage basin improvements. • The scope of work includes reviewing existing drainage studies, conducting site visits, and collecting data to develop designs. • The consultant will provide a review and update of the City’s Master Drainage Plan report, including drainage maps and exhibits that illustrate the analysis and results of the model graphically. • The consultant will also provide a technical memo to the City on the options recommended and a gross cost estimation for discussion in a scoping meeting with the City. • The City desires to select a single consultant to review the City’s existing drainage studies and complete the PS&E based on the findings and recommendations resulting from the study and analysis.
