On-Call Stormwater Services

The Town of Cary is seeking one or more qualified firm(s) with which to contract for on-call services related to stormwater consulting and engineering. The scope of services includes hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, determining the appropriate storm drainage improvement(s), providing accurate project cost estimates and project schedules, obtaining all necessary state and federal permits, and working with Cary staff and property owners to identify and obtain all necessary easements. The selected firm(s) will provide services on an as-needed basis, and the Town may request a selected firm to develop a scope of work for individual stormwater improvement projects utilizing a Task Order. The key responsibilities of the selected firm(s) include providing professional on-call services, performing services in accordance with the standards and requirements described in the Master Agreement, and exercising reasonable care and diligence in the performance of services. • The selected firm(s) will provide on-call stormwater engineering services, including hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, storm drainage design, and construction administration. • The firm(s) will work with Cary staff and property owners to identify and obtain all necessary easements and provide plats suitable for recording. • The firm(s) will provide construction oversight and administration services, including managing the project to its completion and providing Geographic Information System (GIS) electronic services as needed. • The firm(s) will facilitate and coordinate any subcontract services required for individual projects and provide a segregated cost in the task order for such work. • The firm(s) will perform services in accordance with the standards and requirements described in the Master Agreement and exercise reasonable care and diligence in the performance of services.
