Geneva & Smith Mills Expansion – Phase I

The City of Henderson, Kentucky is seeking bids for the Geneva & Smith Mills Expansion – Phase I project. The project involves the installation of approximately 16,500 feet of 4-inch PE gas main, including all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and supervision. The work will be performed along the project route identified in the construction drawings and will include connecting to existing Henderson Municipal Gas facilities. The contractor will be responsible for pressure testing and purging the newly installed gas main of air. • The project requires the installation of gas main at a minimum depth of 48 inches per KYTC requirements. • The contractor must coordinate all construction activities with the City of Henderson Gas Department and any affected agencies or utility providers. • The contractor must comply with all applicable safety standards, regulations, and laws. • The contractor must provide all necessary equipment and personnel to safely and efficiently perform the work required under this contract. • The contractor must guarantee all materials, workmanship, and installation for a period of one year from the date of substantial completion.
