The University of Oklahoma is seeking qualified contractors to design and construct a new 120 × 130‑ft aircraft hangar and associated site‑work at the Max Westheimer Airport (North Research Campus). The scope includes demolition of existing apron structures, extensive earthwork, utility installation (water, sanitary sewer, fire‑line, natural‑gas), concrete paving, structural steel erection, and full mechanical/electrical/ plumbing systems. The contract is a lump‑sum award with a 5 % bid bond, performance/payment/defect bonds, and stringent liquidated‑damage penalties for schedule overruns.
