Construction Manager at Risk for Jacomo Pump Stations and Forcemains

The City of Lee's Summit is seeking a Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) for the Jacomo Pump Stations and Forcemains project. The project involves the construction of two new wastewater pump stations and forcemains, as well as other related work. The CMAR will provide preconstruction and construction services, including managing the interface between design and construction teams, developing and implementing project management and quality management plans, and establishing and maintaining change order management plans. The project is expected to be completed in 24 months, with a total budget of approximately $21,000,000. The key objectives of the project include achieving the scheduled construction completion date, achieving an optimal balance of risk allocation between the Owner and the CMAR, and ensuring the quality and safety of the constructed facilities. Some of the key responsibilities of the CMAR include: * Developing and implementing project management and quality management plans * Establishing and maintaining change order management plans * Coordinating with the Design Engineer and other stakeholders * Managing self-performing and subcontracted work * Ensuring site safety and security * Providing warranty coverage for constructed work * Leading the team in the early development of the facility commissioning plan The evaluation criteria for the SOQs will include factors such as the CMAR's experience and qualifications, project understanding, and approach to the project.
