Description
The Department of Natural Resources is seeking bids for the provision of seasonal pumping service for seventeen vault toilets located in Temperance River State Park, Caribou Falls Wayside Rest Area, and Ray Berglund Wayside Rest Area. The service period is from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2028. The contractor will be required to pump the vault toilets at least once per season, with some needing to be pumped intermittently on an "as needed" basis.
• The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, materials, tools, licensing, transportation, disposal fees, taxes, and incidentals necessary to complete the work.
• The contractor must obey all State Park rules and regulations and drivers must stop at all stop signs and obey all speed limits.
• The contractor must dispose of any cans, bottles, and garbage removed during pumping in a garbage dumpster designated by the Park Manager.
• The contractor must pump septic tanks and vault toilets within 96 hours of request for service and within 24 hours of emergency request for service.
