Modernization for three (3) 100-Ton HLTs

The Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) is conducting market research to identify qualified contractors capable of performing the modernization of three 100-ton Heavy Lift Transporters (HLTs). The modernization effort will replace all major components, parts, and systems with new, current-generation technology, while retaining the frame chassis, engine, and generator. Interested parties should submit a written response including company information, capability statement, and evidence demonstrating their ability to perform the modernization. • The modernization is for three 100-ton Heavy Lift Transporters (HLTs) with serial numbers 125, 126, and 127. • The HLTs were manufactured in 2011 and will be upgraded with new, current-generation technology. • The frame chassis, engine, and generator will be retained. • Interested parties should submit their responses via email to [email protected].
