Description
The 55th Contracting Squadron is seeking consultation services to develop a traffic flow and parking plan for the upcoming Offutt AFB Air Show and Open House in August 2026. The contractor will be responsible for providing a detailed logistics plan addressing traffic flow and parking, including recommended shuttle bus routes and times, and identifying possible "bottlenecks" based on the proposed plan. The contractor will also need to submit a detailed logistics plan addressing event parking, including the arrangement of parking, handicap parking, entrance(s), and exit(s). The plan should demonstrate the ability to handle the number of vehicles per minute and per hour the traffic flow plan will allow.
Some key aspects of the job include:
• Providing all labor, parts, materials, transportation, supervision, and management to provide a traffic flow and parking plan
• Meeting with the Offutt event committee and local community agencies to facilitate traffic flow
• Submitting a detailed logistics plan addressing traffic flow and parking
• Identifying possible "bottlenecks" based on the proposed plan
• Recommending traffic start and end times
• Providing an estimated price to execute the proposed plan
